These books stood out for their unforgettable characters, gripping storylines, and the emotions they evoked. Let’s dive into what made each of them special and why they earned a spot in my top tier!

Archer’s Voice will forever hold a special place in my heart as my ultimate comfort book. Bree and Archer’s story resonates deeply, and I find myself thinking about them almost daily. I connected with Archer on such a profound level; it’s rare to feel so seen through a fictional character. Bree, with her overwhelming gentleness and kindness, left me wishing for someone like her in my life. Her warmth and strength flooded the pages, making her a truly unforgettable character. Lastly, I just want to say,I BREE YOU!

The way I used to be by Amber Smith ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Way I Used to Be by Amber Smith is a raw and emotional coming-of-age story about Eden, a high school girl navigating the aftermath of sexual assault. Through four years of her life, the novel explores her struggles with trauma, identity, and healing, offering a powerful message about resilience and self-discovery.

This book pulled every emotion from me and left my heart shattered into a million pieces. Some quotes from this book have etched themselves into my soul, and even now, I find myself thinking about it and breaking down in tears. It’s a deeply moving and raw story that stays with you long after you finish reading. Just for the summer by Abby Jimenez ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez follows Emma and Justin, two self-proclaimed “cursed” daters who enter a fake relationship, only to find their feelings turning real in this charming and heartfelt romance.

This book is my idea of the perfect romance—it strikes the ideal balance between heartfelt romance, depth, and witty banter. The pacing was flawless, and the length felt just right. The characters were incredibly relatable, and Justin was the ultimate Book Boyfriend.

Kingdom of the wicked by Kerri Maniscalco ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco is a dark and captivating fantasy about Emilia, a young witch who teams up with the enigmatic demon Wrath to uncover the truth behind her twin sister’s brutal murder, leading her into a dangerous world of vengeance, forbidden magic, and deadly secrets.

If you’re new to romantasy like me, I highly recommend this series! The world-building is approachable and not overwhelming, making it a great starting point. The first book was my favorite in the series, though the third book fell a little short of expectations. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey and found myself eager to explore more romantasy books afterward.

Bride by Ali Hazelwood ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bride by Ali Hazelwood is a paranormal romance about Misery Lark, a Vampyre councilman’s daughter, who is thrust into an arranged marriage with Alpha Werewolf Lowe Moreland to preserve peace between their rival factions, blending duty, identity, and unexpected romance.

This book was an easy 5-star read for me! It brought back so much nostalgia from my teen years when I loved omegaverse stories. The blend of familiarity and fresh storytelling made it such an enjoyable experience. It was a quick, captivating read, I wished it were longer, I didn’t want to leave these characters behind. Fingers crossed for another book set in this universe!

Practice makes perfect by Sarah Adams ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams is a charming romantic comedy about Annie Walker, a shy flower shop owner in a small Kentucky town. Determined to find love, she enlists the help of a handsome bodyguard to practice dating, leading to unexpected and heartwarming results.

This book was the definition of ‘right book, right time.’ I was in the mood for something cheesy and silly, and this book was perfect. I enjoyed every second of it and loved watching Will and Annie’s journey together.

If you’re looking for a fun and quick closed-door romance, this book is for you.

Yours truly by Abby Jimenez ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez tells the story of two ER doctors, Briana and Jacob, who initially clash but form an unexpected connection through a series of heartfelt letters. As they share their deepest hopes and fears, they find solace and support in each other, ultimately discovering a deeper connection than they ever anticipated.

This book resonated deeply with me. As someone who experiences anxiety, I saw so much of myself in Jacob. Abby Jimenez masterfully portrayed the struggles of anxiety, making his character incredibly relatable. The romance was absolutely beautiful, and I loved how Briana was so understanding and supportive of Jacob. If you crave a romance novel with real depth, this is for you.”

Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings follows the tempestuous romance between Magnolia, a wealthy London socialite, and BJ Ballentine, a notorious playboy. Their passionate but volatile relationship is a constant cycle of attraction and betrayal. This novel explores their complex dynamic, their struggles with personal demons, and their ultimate quest for true love amidst the glitz and glamour of high society.

This book’s ending still has me in a chokehold, I’m still reeling from the betrayal! I can’t wait to dive into the next installment. If you love reading about the rich and all their drama, this is definitely a must-read!

The unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren is a fun and swoon-worthy enemies-to-lovers romance that follows Olive and Ethan, who reluctantly take a free honeymoon trip together after the bride and groom (her sister and his brother) get food poisoning. Forced to fake being a couple in paradise, their dislike slowly turns into undeniable chemistry, making for a hilarious and heartwarming read.


I can’t believe this book sat on my shelf for over a year! It was the perfect romcom, fun, witty, and effortlessly entertaining. The banter between the main characters was top-tier, making it such a quick and binge-worthy read.

The devious husband by Catharina Maura ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Devious Husband by Catharina Maura is an angsty, marriage-of-convenience romance filled with tension, emotional turmoil, and undeniable chemistry. When a calculated deal forces the protagonists into a marriage neither expected, secrets, betrayal, and passion collide, testing their limits and their hearts.

This book was the perfect conclusion to the series! I had been eagerly anticipating Sierra and Xavier’s story since book one, and it absolutely delivered. If you’re looking for an easy, fun, and binge-worthy romance series, I highly recommend The Windsor Series!

These are my top 10 books of 2024! As you can see, I had six 5-star reads, while the rest earned a solid 4.5 stars. Each of these books left a lasting impression on me!
